Sobre o Local
A Pits of Inferno, também conhecida como Inferno Pits, ou PoI, é um lugar lendário abaixo de Plains of Havoc, onde os Nightmare Knights estabeleceram uma base para lutar contra o mal.
A entrada de Pits of Inferno é localizada em uma pequena câmara, selada com uma parede mágica através da Well of Life e da Shrine of Wonders, como se é mostrada nessa screenshot. Arieswar e Taghor descobriram a entrada para a tumba de Goshnar e conseguiram descer para o Place of Wonders, mas não conseguiu passar pela parede mágica. Mais tarde ele foi teleportado durante o Test Server de inverno, em 2004. Depois disso, o buraco que levava para a tumba de Goshnar foi removido. A Pits of Inferno foi reaberta durante o update de dezembro de 2006.
A Pits of Inferno é composta por um Dragon Lair, um labirinto (conhecido como PoI levers), uma cidadela (conhecida como DT City, DT de Dark Torturer) e por 7 salas especiais, cada uma pertencendo a um dos demônios do Ruthless Seven, cada sala com seu trono contem um respawn muito raro de um boss, podemos deduzir que os seguidores dos Ruthless Seven aparecerão em suas respectivas salas, considerando que cada demônio tem sua própria característica, como "o Senhor da Tortura" ou "o Lorde do Desespero".
A Pits of Inferno está repleta de criaturas difíceis e poderosos demônios. Somente o mais corajoso dos aventureiros ousa invocar a ira das feras que aqui habitam. Caçadas nas profundezas da Pits of Inferno são feitas em grupo devido a grande quantidade de criaturas fortes encontradas lá, com exceção do Dragon Lair e da DT City.
