Método
Para entregar todos seus tomos, complete a The New Frontier Quest como descrito acima e fale com o NPC Cael. No spoiler, será também indicado o que você ganhará entregando um tomo, dois tomos, e assim por diante. Para entregar um, comece dizendo tome of knowledge para Cael e depois siga os diálogos referentes a cada tomo.

Notas:
- Você pode entregar um tomo a cada 20 horas.
- Você pode entregar até seis tomos se estiver na última missão da The New Frontier Quest.
- Nenhum tomo é diferente do outro. Isso significa que você pode comprar ou pegar o tomo de um amigo e continuar entregando para o NPC Cael. Conforme você vai entregando, certos benefícios lhe são concedidos. Abaixo você pode acompanhar uma sequência em que podem ser obtidos.
- Não existe nenhuma ordem requerida para adquirir os tomos, porém muitos deles estão interligados entre si através da conclusão de quests de Zao, paralelas a Tomes of Knowledge Quest, que dão acesso a novas áreas e novos tomos. A ordem apresentada abaixo é meramente ilustrativa.

Primeiro Tome of Knowledge
Esse é o mais fácil e pode ser obtido por qualquer jogador, em qualquer level, que tenha pelo menos acesso à Zao. Vá para a fortaleza dos Orcs ao norte, (33060,31329,7:2aqui
). Suba a escada no extremo norte indicado com um quadrado no mapa, e dirija-se até o outro ponto marcado no mapa, e use parcels ou levitate para subir. Após subir, siga o caminho até chegar na parte de trás do fortress. Você vai precisar de uma arma corpo-a-corpo para quebrar a parte da parede feita com bamboo. Use a arma, e vá até a escada próxima para descer um andar. Então vá até o quadrado marcado no mapa e desça a escada novamente, em seguida prossiga para o norte e oeste até chegar a uma sala com um Orc Warlord, o baú com o tomo está no norte da sala (33009,31251,8:2aqui).
Entregando o Primeiro Tomo
Não interessa a forma que você conseguiu seu tomo. Entregando pela primeira vez um para Cael em Farmine, ele contará um pouco sobre a história de Zao, e você poderá comprar Dragon Tapestry de Pompan, em Farmine.

Para pegar esse tomo, você precisa ter completado até a missão 8 da The New Frontier Quest. Vá para Muggy Plains através dos teleports e ao chegar lá, vá para o norte dos teleports de chegada e encontre o NPC Zurak e fale Hi - Passage/Trip - Yes, ao chegar na ilha, siga os mapas abaixo para chegar até a arena, o tomo pode ser encontrado em um baú a esquerda da escada entre dois shrines.

Quarto Tome of Knowledge
Para ter acesso a esse tomo, inicie e complete a missão 5 Unnatural Selection Quest para ter acesso a porta selada no topo da montanha mais ao norte da cadeia de montanhas de Farmine. Durante o caminho você enfrentará: Bats, Demon Skeletons, Ghouls e Skeletons. O tomo se encontra no penúltimo andar da montanha em um baú.

O tomo fica na casa mais ao norte da vila, no segundo andar, dentro de um baú.

Para liberar o acesso à esse lugar, entregue 8 tomos para Cael. Siga os mapas abaixo para chegar no local onde outro tomo pode ser obtido, vá até Muggy Plains, e ande até (33312,31134,7:2aqui). Você terá que entrar pelo templo, desçer através do telhado e dar volta para encontrar o buraco (33345,31116,7:2aqui), você enfrentará Lizard High Guards, Lizard Dragon Priests e vários Lizard Chosens.

Entregando o décimo tomo, você poderá entrar no Zao Palace. Neste local, você irá encontrar todos os tipos de lizards de Zao e Ghastly Dragons, e poderá encontrar outro tomo.

Cael: My guess is that several members of this dynasty are responsible for or connected to the feats that were attributed to the mythical 'Zao'. ...
Cael: The improbable lifespan of 'Zao' can thus be explained with the time the Zao dynasty reigned. On the other hand, we all know larger-than-life heroes did exist and some of them had an extremely long lifespan. ...
Cael: Most likely, he also had children which could explain the mentioning of a Zao family. I think even the lizardmen don't know for sure what happened in such distant past and so this might be one of those riddles that will never be solved. ...
Cael: It seems that the origin of the Zao dynasty was somewhere in the Dragonblaze Peaks, or rather under them. Legends tell of a large fortress, once erected up the highest peak, but now buried deep underground. Who knows, maybe you'll find answers there?

Décimo Segundo Tome of Knowledge
De uma certa forma, esse acaba sendo o tomo mais raro e difícil de obter-se. Não muito frequentemente, os portões da cidade de Zzaion se abrem com uma invasão de orcs. A quantidade de orcs no local é bastante grande, fora todos os tipos de lizards. Na torre onde o tomo pode ser obtido, muitos lizards como Draken Warmasters e Draken Spellweavers podem ser encontrados, além dos bosses Chizzoron the Distorter e Zulazza The Corruptor, extremamente fortes, que aparecem no penúltimo e último andar respectivamente. No último andar onde Zulazza aparece também fica o baú do tomo, porém muitas pessoas vão até esse lugar a fim de matar o Zulazza, agilizando a limpeza do caminho. Os portões de Zzaion se mantém abertos após a invasão.
