Spellbooks

Spellbooks foram introduzidos no jogo no Update 8.2, eles se comportam tanto como um escudo comum, como também dão bônus adicional de aumentar o magic level do mago. Eles somente podem ser colocados no slot de escudos em seu Inventário. Spellbooks podem ser segurados com apenas uma mão, e usados no lugar do escudo. Em comparação com os escudos normais, o spellbook tem uma defesa muito menor, o que o torna menos atrativo para caçadas solo, porém muito útil quando se tem um time, onde os mages não tomam hits. Para aumentar a defesa dos spellbooks muitos jogadores utilizam uma arma que pode ser tanto uma Espada, um Machado ou uma Clava de bom ataque e leve, que tenha algum modificador de defesa (Bônus de defesa).

O spellbook que oferece a maior defesa é o Shoulder Plate, com 26. Há quatro spellbooks que ficam empatados no quesito bônus de ML: o Spellbook of Ancient Arcana, Umbral Master Spellbook, Spirit Guide e Book of Lies, eles dão +4 no seu ML quando equipados.

Como o Umbral Master Spellbook oferece proteções a vários tipos de danos, é considerado o melhor spellbook para mages no jogo.

Existem 30 spellbooks no jogo.
