The Temperate Spirit in the Cave
There is a tiny cave in the valley, hidden behind blue pines it nests tranquil in the cold rock. An entrance just large enough for a person to fit through separates its gaping darkness from the bright light of the misty valley. It is said that there was one other Enpa that reached the Dhar of enlightenment, Rahng, who transcended at the end of his spiritual journey. Yet out of respect, wisdom and knowledge of the great power a Sempi would yield, bound himself to a mountain. Creating the rock crevice he is now stuck in eternal. It was of his own will to leave his mortal shell and to dedicate his pure spiritual existence as Dhar to serve as both a warning and a guide to fellow warrior monks and Enpa that came after. Many monks claimed to have found and visited the cave to communicate with Dhar-Enpa Rahng. It is, however, a decision of his own to answer or even show himself. Thus, it would be impossible for an outsider to directly interact with Rahng.
His tenets are said to be firm, rooted in harmony and based on a deep respect for every living being and the balanced cycle of life. He teaches that all extremes must be present but to strike a balance, they need to draw from each other, learn from each other and limit each other. Ultimately all extremes determine each other: like life and death, creation and destruction, Uman and Zathroth.
