Método

Para iniciar a quest, siga para o noroeste de Oramond, (33550,31867,7:5aqui), para encontrar o NPC Mr Brandon. Converse com ele e ele pedirá sua ajuda numa missão nas profundezas do oceano. Portanto, depois de falar com o NPC, coloque seu Helmet of the Deep e entre no redemoinho na água, que estará ao norte dele.

Jogador: hi Mr Brandon: Hello. Stranded here, like me? <sigh> Maybe you could assist me in my tragic lot. Jogador: assist Mr Brandon: I have taken a few... things from down there, and now They are angry at me and haunt me. ... Mr Brandon: I dare not go back down there, but I lost my wedding ring! It means the world to me. ... Mr Brandon: I will grant you access to places deep under the sea, if you bring back my wedding ring - would you go looking for it at the bottom of the sea? Jogador: yes Mr Brandon: Thank you. I ask much, I know. You will meet horrible creatures that never saw the light of day, and they will come at you. But I hope you will make it back alive. ... Mr Brandon: Swim into the maelstrom behind me, and you will reach the bottom of the ocean.

Sub-Missão 1: Almas Perdidas no Oceano

Após entrar no redemoinho, você estará debaixo d'água. Procure pela NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas, que estará no mesmo andar que você. Fale com ela para receber sua primeira sub-missão.

Depois de falar com ela, desça dois andares e prepare-se para enfrentar Quaras, Seacrest Serpents, Sharks e outras criaturas marinhas. Você precisará encontrar 5 Drowned Seaman's Skulls e usar cada uma em um altar que estará próximo a elas (ou todas no mesmo altar). Cada skull pode ser obtida num dos círculos pretos do mapa abaixo:

Para obter a skull, basta dar "use" nas Piles of Bones:

Depois, procure por um altar próximo à Pile of Bones e use sua Drowned Seaman's Skull nele. Você pode usar as skulls em Nacre Altars e em Stone Snake Shrines.

Volte à NPC mais uma vez. Ela entregará, então, uma moeda de Cursed Gold, que você deverá usar num piso de ouro amaldiçoado para poder recuperar o anel de casamento de Brandon. Assim, siga o mapa abaixo:

Chegando no local indicado, use seu Cursed Gold nos pisos de ouro amaldiçoado do meio do navio, onde você não consegue pisar, para ser teleportado para o outro lado. Por fim, abra o baú para obter o Brandon's Wedding Ring.

Por último, volte ao NPC Mr Brandon e diga wedding ring para devolver o anel ao seu dono. Para continuar a quest, basta dizer a palavra mission para o mesmo NPC.

Sub-Missão 2: Altares Submersos

Termine o diálogo acima com o NPC Mr Brandon e converse novamente com a NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas. Agora, você já pode acessar a área sudoeste das Seacrest Grounds. Para chegar lá, você deve entrar no portal da esquerda no andar acima da NPC.

Para seguir com a quest, você precisa encontrar 3 Nacre Slabs que foram roubados pelo Mr Brandon.

Primeiro Nacre Slab

O primeiro deles pode ser encontrado num barco afundado. Para chegar nele, comece entrando no portal da esquerda, mencionado acima. Siga para o norte e desça um andar usando Levitate.

Depois, siga as orientações abaixo:

Basta abrir o baú para obter um Nacre Slab (Blue).

Retorne até a NPC para entregar-lhe o item.

Nota: Não tente pegar o segundo Nacre Slab antes de voltar à NPC porque provavelmente você precisará pegá-lo novamente depois.

Segundo Nacre Slab

O segundo Nacre Slab pode ser obtido nessa mesma área do anterior, numa sala cheia de portais. Entre novamente no portal da esquerda, no andar cima da NPC, desça usando Levitate, como você fez para obter o primeiro Nacre Slab.

Siga o mapa abaixo:

Você deverá entrar num redemoinho para chegar a um local cheio de outros redemoinhos, que na verdade são portais. Aqui você precisará entrar em diversos portais até chegar no meio da sala, onde há um baú. Abra-o para obter um Nacre Slab (Yellow). Você não encontrará nenhuma criatura nesse local.

Para sair da sala, basta continuar entrando nos redemoinhos. Volte mais uma vez até a NPC e entregue o segundo item a ela.

Terceiro Nacre Slab

Para obter o terceiro Nacre Slab, você precisará falar com o Mr Brandon. Ele lhe dirá que o item está com seu amigo Yeo, portanto siga até o porto de Oramond, (33657,31988,7:5aqui), para encontrá-lo. Ele pedirá uma Seacrest Pearl em troca do item. Entregue a pérola para ele e você conseguirá o terceiro Nacre Slab.

Retorne até a Guardian Of The Deep Seas com o último Nacre Slab. Ela pedirá para você consertar três Broken Nacre Altars, que ficam um andar abaixo dele. Basta descer um andar (usando Levitate) e você já estará ao lado dos altares. Use cada Nacre Slab em um altar para consertar os três.

Use nesta sequência:

• azul - esquerda
• amarelo - centro
• vermelho - direita

Depois disso, volte até a NPC para completar a missão. Agora, você já tem acesso à Sunken City, a área sudeste das Seacrest Grounds.

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: So Brandon sent you down again to do something for him? Typical. He always liked to let others do the dirty work. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Well, before I tell you ANYTHING about where the sacred slabs might be, you will have to prove your good will. Return to me when you have found the first nacre slab to prove you are in earnest.

Entregando o primeiro Nacre Slab:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: So you really want to find the slabs it seems. I'll keep this one for now. Go look for the second one in the Secret Shrine in the southwestern Seacrest grounds. It was hidden there for safety. You may enter there now for this quest.

Entregando o segundo Nacre Slab:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: So you found it. Well done. I'll keep it here for now. Now go find the third missing slab! Brandon might know where the currents have taken it. Go see him!

Obtendo o terceiro Nacre Slab:

Jogador: hi Mr Brandon: Ah, hello my friend! What brings you up here? Jogador: mission Mr Brandon: Ah! The third was washed ashore by the currents? Probably fished up by someone? Let me think. The only one I know of who casts his nets for clams here on the shore is old Yeo.

Jogador: hi Yeo: Hrm? Jogador: nacre slab Yeo: Sure. This nacre slab here's my latest found. I went to where the cliffs are really rough and there are some mean currents, and cast my net. ... Yeo: The nacre slab looks real nice - but it's cracked and doesn't seem to be of any use. I just like to look at it. Been even dreaming about it, and some strange maned snakelike beasts. Jogador: use Yeo: You want this broken nacre slab? Oh, but I want something for it in exchange, friend! You bring me a big shiny mother-of-pearl orb like I saw in my dream with that seacrest thing, and it's a deal. Jogador: seacrest pearl Yeo: You brought me that mother-of-pearl orb I asked you about? Jogador: yes Yeo: Yes, that's it! Look at it! Isn't it a beauty? Thanks, friend. And here you go - the nacre slab.

Entregando o terceiro Nacre Slab:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: You found it! Ah, wonderful. It has suffered somewhat, but I believe if it's back in its proper place, the altar slabs will become as good as new. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Go down the stairs, to the altar room right underneath. Lay each of the three nacre slabs on an altar - blue on the left, yellow in the centre, red to the right. Then come back to receive your reward.

Concluindo a missão:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Well done. The Dark Powers will be beseeched now, for a while at least. You can tell Brandon that. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: And as for you, you may enter the Sunken City as a reward. There is another quest that goes with it, if you feel up to it.

Sub-Missão 3: A Cidade Submersa

Na terceira missão, você precisará ir até a Sunken City, acessível pelo portal da direita no andar superior ao da NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas.

Pegue a missão com ela, dizendo quest e vá falar com o Mr Brandon. Feito isso, entre no redemoinho próximo a ele para chegar num local cheio de conchas e de alguns redemoinhos. Vá abrindo as conchas até obter uma Sea Ear:

Converse novamente com o Mr Brandon e com a Guardian Of The Deep Seas. Depois, entre no portal da direita no andar superior ao da NPC.

  Entrando no portal

Chegando lá, você encontrará diversas Strange Statues, nas quais você deverá usar sua Sea Ear (talvez mais de uma vez). Quando você fizer isso, você receberá uma mensagem. Várias dessas mensagens dizem apenas que não foi possível ouvir a estátua, ou algo similar. Porém, existem 5 frases que você deverá receber para poder seguir com a quest. São elas:

• <...trapped in stone, ...>
• <...the tail of fire ends ...>
• <... with my slumber beneath the sea.>

Nota: Se você receber a mensagem <The statue seems to slumber. Maybe you should return later.>, você precisará esperar um tempo até poder usar sua Sea Ear nessa estátua novamente. Após obter todas elas (talvez você precise esperar um tempo para poder usar a Sea Ear novamente numa mesma estátua), converse mais uma vez com a NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas. Feito isso, siga as orientações do mapa:

Chegando lá, use sua Sea Ear no Ancient Sundial para obter um Time Compass.

Leve-o rapidamente à NPC para completar a quest, lembrando que existe um portal bem próximo ao Ancient Sundial que leva direto à ela.

Jogador: quest Guardian Of The Deep Seas: I want you to retrieve the protective charm of the sunken city. Tell me, did Brandon mention what else he took when he robbed the nacre altar slabs? He didn't? I thought so. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Then you will need to ask him first what he did with the Sea Ear. It is the protective seal of the charm that defends the Sunken City. Brandon broke that charm by stealing the Sea Ear. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: As a consequence, the statues' protective song was broken and the time compass disappeared and must be found again. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Go to Brandon and ask him where he hid the Sea Ear! Make him give it to you, and then, go to the Sunken City and listen to the statues with it so we may find the compass' secret hiding place.

Para pegar a Sea Ear:

Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Now that you have acquired the Sea Ear, we can begin. Go to the Sunken City and use the Sea Ear with the statues. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: They will tell you where to find the time compass. When you have found the time compass, bring it to me.

Depois de usar a Sea Ear nas estátuas:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: mission Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Ah, that is easy. The compass is hidden beneath the Eternity Altar, the most southern altar, at the end of the volcano ridge. Go and fetch it!

Depois de obter o Time Compass:

Jogador: hi Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Who goes there? What do you disturb the quiet of the abyss for? Jogador: compass Guardian Of The Deep Seas: That's it! It truly is! The compass has returned to the Guardian! Now, the souls of the Sunken City are safe again! ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Thank you. You have earned the right to enter the last Seacrest ground, the birthing grounds of the seacrests. ... Guardian Of The Deep Seas: Be careful though. The searcrests are holy beasts, and killing too many will incite the wrath of the Fire-Feathered Serpent.

The Fire-Feathered Serpent

Se 3000 Seacrest Serpents forem mortas, uma World Change é ativada instantaneamente e, então, todas as Sea Serpents, Seacrest Serpents e afins são substituídas por Renegade Quaras. Para reverter essa world change, 3 Orbs precisam ser recuperados e entregues no Everhungry Altar. Os orbs são:

• Orb of Darkness Eternal, Finalizador do Tempo.
• Orb of Life Everchanging, Criança do Sangue e do Riso.
• Orb of Light Undying, Pai da Criação.

Outro modo de reverter a world change é matando 1000? (número ainda não confirmado) Renegade Quaras.

Orb of Darkness Eternal

Para recuperar esse Orb, que foi roubado pelos Quaras, você deve dizer as palavras beseeched - yes para a NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas enquanto a World Change estiver ativa. Você poderá, então, entrar no portal próximo à serpente do andar inferior ao da NPC, assim você acessará uma área ao leste do portal. Desça para o sul até encontrar um Stone Snake Shrine e use uma Mind Stone nele. Você obterá um Orb of Darkness Eternal.

Ao obter o Orb, você conseguirá o achievement "Mind Step!".

Orb of Life Everchanging

Para criar esse Orb, arrume uma Seacrest Pearl e siga para o local indicado no mapa abaixo, ao sul da NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas.

Basta usar a pérola no Nacre Altar presente no centro do local para obter seu Orb of Life Everchanging.

Orb of Light Undying

Com um Bottle of Gloo em mãos, siga para o Everhungry Altar, (33476,31712,15:4aqui).

Ao entrar no altar, use o ashes para conseguir um Broken Orb of Light Undying.

Use o Bottle of Gloo no Broken Orb of Light Undying para consertá-lo.

Use a Orb of Light Undying no sul.

Use a Orb of Life Everchanging na direita.

Por último, use a Orb of Darkness Eternal no norte.

Volte para ao NPC Guardian Of The Deep Seas e fale mission.

Recompensa

Ao reportar a missão, você receberá como recompensa:

• Violet Crystal Shard
• Green Crystal Shard
• Blue Crystal Shard
• Ring of Healing

Ao obter o Orb, você conseguirá o achievement "Snake Charmer".
