Conquerors and adventurers from all corners of the world tried to find and occupy the lost cities of the Iks but no expedition bore fruit, all attempts failed. The Ikian civilisation has indeed been wiped clean from the face of the world. Was it the cleansing storm long prophesied? Or did their rampant lust for blood cost them their lives and legacy? Was the ultimate sacrifice of their souls over challenging the fear of the wrath of a vengeful god their downfall? It will probably never be known.

Legend has it, that the last remnants of the exiles once again built a home under the earth, deep down, made of stone and gold and filled with riches beyond belief (a scribbled note says Iksupan and "Ik'kal" after this sentence). The final exiles are believed to have never returned to the surface. A lost tribe, forever wandering their golden city in the deep, the entrance sealed shut for no god nor man to ever find them again.

Tradução:

Conquistadores e aventureiros de todos os cantos do mundo tentaram encontrar e ocupar as cidades perdidas dos Iks, mas nenhuma expedição deu frutos, todas as tentativas falharam. A civilização Ikiana foi de facto limpa da face do mundo. Será que a tempestade purificadora há muito que foi profetizada? Ou será que o seu desejo desenfreado de sangue lhes custou a vida e o legado? Foi o derradeiro sacrifício das suas almas sobre o desafio do medo da ira de um deus vingativo a sua ruína? Provavelmente nunca será conhecido.

A lenda diz que os últimos restos dos exilados voltaram a construir um lar debaixo da terra, no fundo, feito de pedra e ouro e cheio de riquezas inimagináveis (uma nota rabiscada diz Iksupan e "Ik'kal" depois desta frase). Acredita-se que os exilados finais nunca mais voltaram à superfície. Uma tribo perdida, sempre a vaguear pela sua cidade dourada nas profundezas, a entrada selada para que nenhum deus nem homem os voltasse a encontrar.
