			Desde que pisamos pela primeira vez nestas novas terras, sentimos uma sensação de pavor. Algo fora de ordem, um formigamento na pele. Como um vento que sopra através de você e arrepia seus ossos. Exploramos esta ilha exaustivamente para construir a nossa fortaleza em terreno estável e de boa fé. À medida que as nossas fortificações cresciam, também crescia o nosso desejo de explorar o novo continente. Várias expedições foram feitas, uma delas levou à morte de dois irmãos que morreram após a mordida de feras estranhas que vagam pelas estepes áridas. 			Logo surgiram rumores de que usar o feitiço para chegar até aqui era um procedimento incorreto e que deveríamos ter omitido completamente o ritual. Alguns não perceberam como a página ou o livro que procuramos ajuda a nossa causa e que traímos o código de cavalaria ao realizar um rito sombrio. Isso deixou o Grão-Mestre muito furioso. Não houve mais debate desde então. O Grande Capelão proibiu qualquer conversa sobre o que nos trouxe até aqui e o Preceptor Lazare afirmou que não aceitaria mais tais disparates ou então chamaria o serviço de latrina durante pelo menos um mês.

			A grande missão foi proclamada pelo Grande Capelão Gaunder sob o decreto do Grão-Mestre. Deveríamos encontrar e recuperar o Grimoire Impluviatus, a origem da única página em nossa posse. A proclamação incluía um juramento para manter o livro seguro, pois nenhum homem deveria usar sua magia para fazer o mal. Como apenas o Grão-Mestre foi considerado capaz de resistir ao poder do livro, ele foi escolhido como o Guardião do Grimoire Impluviatus.

			A praga obviamente se espalhou, mas a um ritmo desconhecido. Pudemos sentir imediatamente o perigo das plantas e animais afetados por esta doença e ficamos longe dela o melhor que pudemos. Por fim, a nossa expedição levou-nos a um pequeno templo no nordeste do continente. A sala estava decorada com duas estátuas parecidas com lagartos no meio, olhando uma para a outra. Ao lado de um pequeno lago artificial encontramos o grimório Impluviatus. Quando voltamos para casa, as comemorações estavam em ordem. A tarefa do Guardião foi atribuída ao Grão-Mestre Oberon com o Grande Cônego Dominus como seu segundo.

			No entanto, o sentimento de pavor que pairava tão fortemente sobre a ilha e o continente não nos abandonou. O que trouxemos conosco foi um farol do mal que logo descobriríamos. Ravus, a Peste Cinzenta, espalhou-se entre nós. Foi descoberto pela primeira vez nos túmulos dos irmãos que perdemos nas estepes. Seus locais de descanso foram profanados por uma substância vil e escura, o fedor era quase insuportável. O Grande Cânone manteve a maioria de nós longe da cena desagradável e tentou contê-la. Nenhum de nós sabe quantas vezes ele limpou as sepulturas, mas isso não pôde ser impedido.

Since we first set foot on these new lands, we felt a sensation of dread. Something out of the order, a tingling on the skin. Like a wind that blows right through you and chills your bones. We explored this island thoroughly to build our fortress on stable ground and in good faith. As our fortifications grew, so did our urge to explore the new continent. Several expeditions were made, one edeavour led to the death of two brothers who died after the bite of strange beasts that roam the barren steppes. When we managed to venture further into the north, we encountered a strange plague, befalling these lands: Ravus, the Grey Plague, as our druid calls it. It affects not only beasts but plants and the very soil.

Soon rumors arose that using the spell to get here was an ill procedure and that we should have omitted the ritual altogether. Some did not see how the page or the book we seek help our cause and that we betrayed chivalric code by conducting a dark rite. This left the Grand Master very furious. There was no further debate ever since. The Grand Chaplain banned any talk about what led us here and Preceptor Lazare stated that he would not have any such nonsense anymore or he calls latrine duty for at least a month.

The great quest was proclaimed by Grand Chaplain Gaunder under edict of the Grand Master. We were to find and retrieve the Grimoire Impluviatus, the origin of the single page in our possession. The proclamation included an oath to keep the book safe for no man should use its magic to do evil. As only the Grand Master was deemed able to withstand the power of the book, he was chosen as the Keeper of Grimoire Impluviatus.

The plague obviously spread but at an unknown rate. We could immediately sense danger from the plants and animals affected by this disease and stayed away from it as best we could. Eventually our expedition led us to a small temple to the north-east of the continent. The room was decorated with two lizard-like statues in the middle, gazing at each other. Next to a small artificial pond we found the grimoire, Impluviatus. When we returned home, celebrations were in order. The task of the Keeper was assigned to Grand Master Oberon with Grand Canon Dominus as his second.
